Our classmate, Mac McLennon, passed away while retired in Pensacola, Fl. After high school, Mac attended FJC, served in the USAF until retiring in 1993. He was a Persian War veteran. He also served Santa Rosa County as a 911 Dispatch Officer until retiring in 2001. He is survived by his wife, Kim Mower and daughter, Sarah.
Sad to learn of Mac's passing from this In Memory listing. Mac was a great friend to me in school and afterwards. We were roommates in a secluded "woods hippie" house on the southside where we tended our garden and partied to lots of Santana. We were partners in a lawn care company we operated out of his van. Surfed in the morning at Seagate or the "poles" and mowed lawns in the afternoon. He always had a smile, especially while enjoying his favorite snacks, powdered mini donuts in the morning and an RC cola and a Moon Pie for lunch. I'll always remember him fondly.
