Ron and I were pals since grade school, Jr High and thru High school. We stayed in touch up until his death. I think about Ron alot and I miss him! He was always a man among boys. He was always the biggest kid in school and thank God he was a gentle giant! He had a great sense of humor and we had alot of laughs. R.I.P. friend.
Ronnie was a sweet guy with a gentle spirit. My funniest memory of him was my 7th grade birthday. He showed up for my party a week early. I answered the door & there he stood. He was so embarrased, he wouldn't come in the house. My dad convinced him to come in and use the phone to call his family. Ronnie didn't think it was funny at the time, but we laughed about it later.
I used to go hunting with Ronnie. He was a man of few words, but he was always a good friend and had a heart of gold. I learned of his illness and went to see him on several occasions. I talked to him about the Lord and he told me that he knew Jesus and that was a relief. He is no longer suffering and is in Heaven.
